If the name Dj Premiere doesn’t ring a bell, nor does it filter when you browse through the endless gigabytes of illegally downloaded files on your iPod, you either don’t really “listen” to much music or quite possibly have been living under a rock the past 20+ years. Fact is, if you have ever heard anything, Biggie, Nas, Jay Z, 50 Cent, KRS one, and even the Black Eyed Peas, just to name a few, then you have most likely heard his work. He’s most importantly known as one of the founding members of Gang Starr alongside Guru (RIP). Rolling stone magazine  even titled him as “Hip hops greatest producer ever.”  Do I have your attention yet?
